Bloomin’ Brands Senior Leader Joins Women’s Foodservice Forum Board Of Directors
Kelly Lefferts will help WFF accelerate advancement of women in the foodservice industry
Tampa, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2021) – Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. (BLMN) is proud to have Kelly Lefferts, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, join the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) Board of Directors. Today, WFF announced Lefferts was among its newest members.
“I feel strongly that diversity in leadership delivers benefits to our customers, employees and stockholders, so I am excited to work with the Women’s Foodservice Forum whose vision is to break down barriers and create new paths for women to succeed in the foodservice industry,” said Lefferts, EVP, CLO and Secretary of Bloomin’ Brands.
Lefferts began her career at Bloomin’ Brands in 1997 as Corporate Counsel and was named Chief Legal Officer in 2019. She was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Restaurant Law Center, a public policy law association affiliated with the National Restaurant Association. She is the Founder and Steering Committee Member of Bloomin’ Brands, Inc.’s Women’s Interests Network and an Executive Sponsor and member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Lefferts will serve two successive, three-year terms beginning January 1, 2021 and ending on December 31, 2026.
